iCQ Awards joins The Workforce Development Trust group

We are really pleased to be able to share with you the news that iCQ has been acquired and is now part of the The Workforce Development Trust, a registered charity.
The Workforce Development Trust was established in 2017 as the parent organisation of Skills for Health, Skills for Justice, People 1st International and SFJ Awards. Across its go to market brands, the organisation supports workforce development through the creation of apprenticeship standards, professional learning and frameworks, quality assurance of training and qualifications, workforce planning consultancy, regulated qualifications, End-Point Assessment (EPA) services and more.
iCQ centres and customers were notified of the change of ownership and reassured that it makes no material difference to the continuing delivery of high-quality awarding and assessment services that they use. All existing team members remain at iCQ, also becoming a part of The Workforce Development Trust. iCQ Awards directors Dennis Twomey and Simon Holcombe remain at the helm.
Looking to the future
As part of joining the group, you may have noticed we’ve made a few changes to the look and feel of iCQ, and gotten a shiny new website – the first sign of the improvements to come!
The major improvement though, is that we believe that we are now in an even better position to support and develop our customers. We have exciting plans to build resources and systems that will provide additional help for centres and learners alike.
We look forward to the opportunities for collaboration, qualification and EPA development, and the power of more resources to put behind delivering excellent learning opportunities.
