We rarely get to see and enjoy the post-assessment part!
On 21 October, Dennis Twomey (Managing Director of iCQ) had the pleasure of attending a graduate ceremony for the apprentices of one of our training providers, A S Training.
The event celebrated the hard work, commitment, and achievements of apprentices who have excelled in apprenticeships with organisations in the travel and tourism industry. iCQ, as the End-Point Assessment Organisation for a large number of the apprentices, was invited to join in on the day and congratulate them on their successful passes.
Dennis says
“I really enjoyed being part of the awards – it was so nice to see the learners celebrating. We rarely get to see and enjoy the post assessment part!
“We’re incredibly proud of the work we do in travel and tourism, and in supporting apprentices in general.
“The ceremony was a great opportunity for us to not only celebrate their achievements, but also to connect with those that work at A S Training. Having the chance to catch up face to face with the people that we work with helps us understand how we can support them, and ultimately the learners, in the best way possible.
“It’s clear to see that the A S team have amazing relationships with each of their learners, and they should all be proud of the support and guidance they provide.
“During the event we heard from Jade Evers from Jet2 and Simon Applebaum from Gold Medal, some of the most well-known companies in the industry. Their commitment to and belief in apprenticeships and their own journeys will no doubt have inspired the assembled apprentices.
“A huge congratulations to all of A S Training’s graduates for this year, and we’re really looking forward to seeing the next generation of graduates next year.”
Michelle Van Sprang, Managing Director of A S Training, says
“It was fabulous to have iCQ join in the celebration! It was a fantastic day filled with so much pride and passion.
“The graduation day was more than just a celebration – it was a reminder of why we do what we do. Watching our apprentices grow into confident, capable professionals is the most rewarding part of our journey as a training provider.
“It was also a great chance to celebrate how we are pushing the boundaries and enhancing the apprenticeship delivery, by working together as an industry and creating new opportunities and pathways to the sector!
“To all our graduates – congratulations once again. Your journey doesn’t end here; it’s only just beginning!”
iCQ support A S Training with End-Point Assessment (EPA) services for Travel Consultant apprenticeships. We have been working together for the last 2 years, so far supporting 75 apprentices to achieve their goals of entering the travel and tourism workforce. Looking to the future of our partnership, we’re excited to be exploring working together to support their Cabin Crew apprentices.
Across the sector, we work with organisations large and small, such as Trailfinders, Hays Travel and more, for Travel Consultant and Cabin Crew apprentices, as well as a range of other qualifications.
